Delete your LogACat account
This page lets you permanently delete your LogACat account and personal data. LogACat is operated by the LogACat team; deletion applies to the account you use at logacat.com and in the LogACat mobile app.
What gets deleted
- Your login and email address
- Your profile: display name, bio, avatar photo, trust score
- Your messages, friendships, and notifications
- Your own sightings and the photos you uploaded
- Your comments, reactions, name votes, and match votes
- Your push-notification registrations and organization follows
What is kept
- Community cat and dog profiles you originally added remain on the shared map (other users may have since added sightings and photos to them), but they are anonymized — no longer linked to you.
- Donation and fund records are retained in anonymized form (amounts only, no personal link) as required for financial record-keeping.
Deletion is immediate and permanent — it cannot be undone.
